Doonaha National School is a two teacher, co-educational primary school, situated on the Loop Head Peninsula, on the Wild Atlantic Way in West Clare. At present there are 20 children on roll from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. The school also has a shared Special Educational Needs Teacher as part of a local cluster. All areas of the Primary School Curriculum are covered in depth with an emphasis on active learning for all students. We were very proud to be working towards our second Green Flag this year and we are currently maintaining our Active Schools Flag. We have been involved in the Discover Primary Science Programme since 2005 and have exhibited at the R.D.S Primary Science fair . Visit our School Projects page and Gallery for more on our recent events and initiatives.
